Begining of the writing of the technical manuals

The technical manuals are being prepared based on the LIFE Pinassa results and based on a literature review.

They will deal with the following topics:

– Good forest management practices and conservation of biodiversity in Pinus nigra salzmannii forests.

– Characterization and conservation of mature stands.

– Role of fire in the conservation of habitat.

They will be aimed at forest technicians and conservation of the natural environment, administrations, scientific and nature conservation institutions, forest owners, firefighters.
