With the end of the silvicultural actions in Horta de Sant Joan (els Ports Natural Park) (Figure 1 and 2), the implementation phase of the forestry activities of the LIFE + PINASSA project is completed. Stands focused on 6 Special Conservation Areas (ZEC) of the Natura 2000 Network, covering a large part of the Catalan territory (Figure 3). A total of 260 ha has been implemented, which has involved the hiring and training of 14 forestry companies.
