Last April, Jennie Sandström, a researcher at Mid Sweeden University, spent 3 weeks at CTFC, where she also had the support of Frederick Carlsson and Julia Hjalmarsson from Mid Sweeden University. The Swedish researchers participated in the dendroecological study of mature Black pines included in the stands of Action C7 of Life+PINASSA project. The work aims at knowing the fire regime and how fire affected tree growth.
